HP+™ Wall System

This isn´t just any wall. It´s a new way to build homes and buildings, one that increases the durability and longevity of a house, and makes economic sense for both builders and owners. It´s the HP+™ Wall System and it´s this month´s Spotlight.

"We have to look at everything as a system."

WATCH: A new way to build homes

Residential construction is changing everyday and the need for innovation is greater than ever. "This is the beginning of a new way to build homes and a new way to build buildings," says Rick Davenport, former Director of Sustainability, BASF. But that innovation starts before construction — it starts with BASF's Consultative Solutions.

The 1-2-3 power combo

The HP+™ Wall System combines three BASF products:

  • 1

    Neopor®, a graphite-enhanced and rigid thermal foam insulation that helps mitigate the risk of moisture inside of wall cavities;

  • 2

WALLTITE® HP+™, a closed-cell, spray-applied polyurethane for superior insulation, strength and energy efficiency; and

  • 3

ENERSHIELD®, an air and water resistant resilient coating that creates a seamless barrier of protection to above grade wall substrates.

This powerful combination delivers exceptional control of heat, air and moisture and increased structural integrity.

"It's more than just the products and the walls—it goes together in harmony."

Did you know…

There are four flows you have to address for a home to work:

  • 1

    Airflow

  • 2

    Heat flow

  • 3

    Moisture

  • 4

    Vapour

The assembly of the HP+™ Wall system addresses them all.

Low score, high value

The superior durability and performance of the HP+™ Wall System can help builders meet new and challenging code requirements and improve Home Energy Rating System (HERS) index scores.
